Pella's catalog runs from vinyl sliders up through wood and aluminum-clad wood doors, so the build under the trim varies a lot. On the vinyl and clad sliders we mostly deal with worn rollers, tracks that need cleaning or capping, and multi-point lock hardware that has gone stiff. Pella has used a number of its own hardware designs over the years, so we identify the exact line and vintage before matching rollers, handles, and lock mechanisms - and when an original is discontinued we fit a compatible replacement rather than forcing a generic part that will not seat.

Tampa Bay's humidity is the part of the climate Pella owners feel most, especially on the wood and clad models. Moisture works into the sill and the bottom of a wood-interior door, weatherstripping compresses, and the sweep stops sealing - so you get drafts and, on a pool or lanai door, a swollen bottom rail that scrapes. On the coast, salt air adds corrosion to exposed rollers and lock hardware. We service the sill and threshold, renew the weatherstripping, and set fresh rollers so the door closes tight and slides clean again.
